Discover different scents or enjoy your favourite Aggie & I scent again and again. We'll walk you through the simple process of removing the remaining wax and replacing it with one of our candle refills. With a little care and attention, you can enjoy your favourite scents for even longer. 

Using one of our candle refills for the first time

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies 

• Your Aggie & I candle jar 
• Hot water 
• Gloves (provided with your candle refill) 
• Soft cloth 
• Warm, soapy water 
• Your chosen Aggie & I soy candle refill 

Step 2: Remove the Remaining Wax 

• Put on the gloves provided with your candle refill for safety. 
• Place your Aggie & I candle jar on a heat-resistant surface. 
• Pour a small amount of hot water into the base of the jar, enough to cover the remaining wax. 
• Wait patiently as the wax starts to float to the top. This should happen relatively quickly. 
• Once the wax has hardened again, carefully remove it from the jar. You can use a knife or a spoon to help lift it out. 
• With the wax removed, your candle jar should be empty and ready for the refill. 

Step 3: Clean the Inside of the Glass 

• Fill your jar with warm, soapy water. 
• Use a soft cloth to clean the inside of the glass thoroughly. Do not use harsh abrasives.
• Rinse the jar with clean water and make sure it's completely dry before moving on to the next step. 

Step 4: Insert the Soy Candle Refill 

• Unwrap the outer packaging from your Aggie & I soy candle refill. 
• Remove the yellow paper tab from the base of the wick to reveal the sticky pad. 
• Carefully place the refill into the clean jar. 
• Gently press the refill to ensure that the sticky pad bonds securely with the bottom of the jar. 
• Apply the "warning" label to the base of the jar, as included with your refill. 

And that's it! Your Aggie & I candle is now refreshed with a candle refill and is  ready to be enjoyed.
